seems a strange one considering smith choose us over saints when he left salford due to them dropping him.

but on Brough, no thank you he disappears quicker under pressure than people claim smith does. and is a just a smaller version of LMS attitude wise.

I always remember that one an Aussie board I post on, one of the regular posters, a Kiwi, used to say that he reckoned Brough was the second best half in the world, after Thurston. This was a few years ago, mind. I don't think there's any doubt that he has talent, and a terrific kicking game. However, there's always been issues with his temperament, and his best days are clearly behind him now.
