Think you are wrong there. Pat saw his contract out, Green did, Tommy did, Carmont did and plenty more. I think overseas players are far more likely to stick to deals than UK ones.
In contrast nearly every high profile player we lost such as Joel to RU and Sam to the NRL did so after signing much heralded long term deals! Recently, only Budgie (as in a British player leaving) that I can recall left at the end of a contract. The rest early. Even Andy Farrell walked away from a six year deal in a previous era.

Yeah Dave, I know we've had a handful of Aussies who've made their home here but I was talking generally throughout the Super League. But at Wigan we've had Trent Barrett who went home early if I remember correctly plus not sure if Madge actually saw out his contract ?
I think the overseas players who do stick out their contracts are the ones without a club back in the NRL - but then if they perform well here and get noticed, if an offer from Oz then comes, they are more likely to return early.
