Tommy is a far better player than Smith.Caboosegg wrote:i would be sad to see smith go, he cops alot of unfair flak,
i believe we will miss his presence if he goes, he does alot of the leading on the pitch even when lockers is on. i hope im wrong in that though as it would make us weaker.

Time the Club put this rumour to bed one way or another!
Not very professional, particularly as some prats are giving MS some stick when he's out on the park-Cas.

That wouldn't surprise me.
He's 29 with a rumoured 4 year deal and probably a pay rise thrown in.
Who can blame him with two years left on his Wigan deal.

I've heard this again tonight.Kittwazzer wrote:Somebody on RedVee says the 4 year deal has now been signed.
You wouldn't think it the passion he shows playing for Wigan! He along with John Bateman jumped over the hoardings when we went in front!!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.

Can't fault mattys passion, still think he's a very average player though. Williams out shines him nearly every game. It took him just over an hour to put a decent kick in against the wire last night!!

The difference is that Wigan tried to keep Blake Green. The booze hound wrote:Could be another Blake Green (big yellow taxi) scenario. You don't know what you've got till its gone....

He was shite again last night, first kick was charged down and could have cost us a try, next 3 went over dead ball line by a mile.He never made a break all night and waspoor defensively, for heavens sake what people see in him amazes me, sooner he goes the better.
