Come back Ian

Thornley that is. Or should we be after signing Josh Jones from Salford.
One or other will be looking for a new club after next Saturday surely?

His defence is poor. JJ has been far better for Salford this season.

Alas no. Once upon a time, I thought he had so much potential it was frightening. A modern day Neil Fox. Never realised his vast potential. Maybe he had it too easy being so big, even when he moved up a year at Pats.

They shall return

Times have changed but interestingly in the great era we were very good at shipping players out before we sucked every season outof them. Under IL, Ellery would have been here until he was 40!

Tbh if the players were re-signed 100% without ANY fitness doubts any club would have been foolish to not have shown an interest

However, that was not the case.

Life is a gamble and I am sure IL thought the gamble worth the risks involved. When those risks outweigh the benefits then we end up as we are now.

I have my fingers crossed all the players with clouded futures make a full recovery and play to the standard and form that made them fans' favourites
