Wire v Saints refereeing decisions!

Post by The booze hound »

So far (65 mins) the ref (or should I say chef?) is guilty of a bit of home cooking. Almost feel sorry for Saints.

Robbed. Scored a try not given. Knock on given as a try against. The RFL is not fit for purpose.

To not give that as a try despite what the ref said on field is preposterous. Haven't seen the other contentious call but I am amazed at the standard of refereeing recently.

Either make a try / no try decision on field and stick with it or let video ref decide.
The current system of forcing the video refs hand is making a mockery of the game.
“Usually the fans that abuse players like Sam have never done anything of any note themselves. They’re nobodies, whose greatest claim to fame is abusing someone who has, and these so-called ‘Eddie the Experts’ pretend to their mates that they have."

Interesting how they ignore the VR when it suits but throw anything at the VR in the hope they can prevent a try. Sport is fairly dirty these days.

I've always thought Thaler was pretty fair but the decisions from him and his line judges were unbelievable tonight

On top of all that Daryl Clarke should get an academy award for his acting - last 3 wire games I've seen he's been a real conman and doesn't need to be as he's a decent enough player without the continual attempts to get penalties
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

The game feels dirty tonight. I feel for Saints fan. People say ah, oh but it evens itself out well sorry it cannot do so as Saints are done with no way back.
