Re: Warriors Re-sign Liam Forsyth
I have been thinking long and hard when Morgan Escaré last played for Wigan as he must have done if he has been announced as a player for 2017. :conf:

Re: Warriors Re-sign Liam Forsyth
is he another player who we are going to improve by 40% - Lenegan as shown us its obvious he has no collateral to purchase world class players any more .

Re: Warriors Re-sign Liam Forsyth
How many of those who are doubting Forsyth have actually seen him play. He isn't coming to go directly into the first team. How many teams have top class centres waiting in the reserves? That's why so many chose to play second rows or academy players there if injury strikes. The two centres who played in the Grand Final will still be here next year. At least give Forsyth a chance before condemning him, I've a feeling he'll do o.k. and yes I HAVE seen him play.

Re: Warriors Re-sign Liam Forsyth
In his Wigan TV interview IL said he'd put £500k of his own money into the club this year.
I think he also put £400k in last year too.
That's not small change.
Also who would we buy who would come to Wigan and how much would they (he) cost?

Re: Warriors Re-sign Liam Forsyth
Didn't lenigan say Wigan have nearly completed the squad for next season?
That tells me we have one more signing to come( and no one else is leaving, bar mossop).
This, for me,tells me we must be looking for a centre or half( who can kick goals). We are pretty solid everywhere else, when everyone is fit.
This is,unless,we are getting Hampshire back( who I'm told is a decent kicker).
Someone on here mentioned josh mantelatto. Now I think he would be a very good option

Re: Warriors Re-sign Liam Forsyth
The problem with Mantellato is that despite appearing on the face of it a perfect fit, he isn't actually that good; either at goal-kicking, or at scoring tries.

And as a "competent", consistent goal kicker he'd have to play every game, so who'd be dropped to fit him in ?
