Solves the problematic center/goal kicker in one foul swoop.
Some Saints fans saying it's a done deal and will be announced after the Internationals.
Personally I've never rated him and is a bit suspect in defence, but he's a decent goal kicker and quick.
Let's see.

Can't see Saints letting Percival go.
Their fans would be in uproar especially if he came to us.
Imagine what would happen to their season ticket sales.
Saints fans would be revolting!

Re: Mark Percival
Percival is a natural centre who is getting better. He is very capable of breaking the line and with the pace we have on the wings and fullback with Escare would make an excellent addition. That's without his goal kicking ability being mentioned.
Can't see this move happening, but I'd take it if it was offered.

I think we have made our plans clear with the signing of Forsyth.

It would be nice to have another Judas though, wouldn't it?

Re: Mark Percival
It's only like our fans and Williams rumour. Personally I'd be shocked to see either deal as it stands, but I would not be shocked if both get new deals at their current club tied up in the next few months.

Who was the last player to go from Wigan to Saints? I can't think of anyone since Bill Francis!TWO EYED WARRIOR wrote:It certainly seems that tensions between the 2 clubs have eased.
The Matty Smith signing seemed to be smooth between the 2 clubs.

I can't remember if they went direct or via other clubs first but Bobby Goulding and Kevin Iro went. Gilmour went there as well but again after being somewhere else first.
Ricky Bibey?
