Four generations of supporter in a ground at the same time is some going at any Club and be whatever sport. Our family managed three generations many years ago but four was never on the cards as my grandchildren father passed away in '71.
As has been said the Club is missing a trick here, despite the youngest's 'tender months'.
I have always said it's much better when the team picks you as opposed to you picking the team. Being early should result in a good catch!!

FWarrior you have hijacked this post to start preaching to me about the rights and wrongs of whether a 4 month old child should attend a sporting event. This is not what the post was intended to be about. I will not rise to the bait regarding you now questioning my parenting abilities as you do not know me or my family.I respect that you are entitled to your views but it isn't one which I or others share.

I took my daughter on walks in Ambleside when she was 5-6 months old, we did snowden when she was 9 months old, betws-y-coed when she was 12-13 months old (she really nailed walking here), coniston when she was 18 months old and as soon as the weather turns nice this year the adventure will continue!
She now craves the outdoors and loves it wether it is a local walk or a visit to the park followed by ice cream, fact is it is selfish to leave kids indoors and not take them out to events and occasions, it is keeping them in that is lazy parenting and it is keeping them in that will encourage them to become a tech hermit, again lazy parenting and selfish in my book.
Taking a child out takes a lot of planning and extra parenting to deal with situations that arise outside the comfort of your 4 walls hardly selfish! Also what a story that is when your showing your child the photos and telling the story of taking them to a WCC game!
You may see it as selfish CP that's your opinion but why not keep it to yourself? What good has come from you sharing that view? IMO sharing your opinion in this instance is selfish as it may have put a downer on jar jar for what? Asking for help!

Wes thanks for your support I agree entirely with the points you are making and you are spot on with regards to the pre-planning and preparation that is being put - might be on a level with what the team are going through at the moment.

It is a fantastic achievement to still have four generations in one family & I envy JarJar & his family, not ever having known my own grandparents.

I have just been contacted by the club who are clearly trying to make amends and which I am sure is in part thanks to the input of some of you on here. We are looking forward to ALL generations of our family watching the game on Sunday even if it means I have to miss out on reading up on how to be a good parent/grandparent .

If your child is sick you deal with it refardless of where you are, it's funny though at such a young age structured bed times arnt vital as the sleep feed cycle doesn't appreciate the clock. My daughter suffered from reflux at a young age so it was more important she was with us at all times and went to bed when we went, granted now she is older she is in a structured routine but wrapping them up in cotton wool is selfish.
Parenting is amazing and the one thing that sticks out when you leave hospital with your child is that you don't get a manual, everyone does it differently but if we raise our kids to be good humans and they turn out how we expect them too then surely that is a success.
Surely in your profession you should understand there are multiple ways to reach an answer also no 2 kids are brought up in the same way/environment but lots can succeed or is every answer only in a book?
