I stated at the time we got the penalty around the hour mark to both the guy next to me and a mate on the other side we should have gone for the kick. Huddersfield had been put on a warning for lying on in the tackle and at 14-16 the kick would have brought us level and hence a psycho boost.
All that occurred later re. the sin bin I had stated could happen and the penalty we scored later would have been the winner.
It was Huddersfield's cup final as such and as they always do they brought us down to their level. We always seem to have to grind a result out against them at home but fortunately my disappointment walking off the DW was short lived after the Salford win.
I think the team felt they were on top at that point and with Huddersfield on the team warning they couldn't do the only thing they were able to that was slowing is down. Problem though was play selection on that set was terrible. The way we had been attacking this year would have given them confidence they could score, but in hindsight given how badly the set went and how poor our close to the line attack was on the day, we should have taken the kick at goal.

But then Huddersfield would have gone for two on a penalty later on and hypothetically you get the same result, so that one decision in isolation isn't why we drew this game.
The plays after the penalty given was shambolic. I still stand by the kick should have been taken at the time. We always have to grind a result against them.
Friday will be very difficult and I feel before the squad is announced that we will go down.

Shaun,my comments on this topic were in no way directed at you. Just WW who appears to enjoy sniping at people who don't agree with his view no matter on whatever topic but mainly Bbrexit. I must admit he brings out my worst side. I am normally polite to other posters even when I have an opposite view. I think other posters would confirm that but this guy revels in being snotty. He's a complete shit Sorry about this post but it needs to be said. Now the Moderators can ban me. I'm passed caring

No I don't enjoy sniping at people, just certain individuals who have a pop at me. You didn't go to the game SJ so why comment on something you haven't got a clue about?
You described me as a troll a few months back, not long after you'd joined the forum. If you take time to look I've been posting for a good few years, but you have certainly helped me up the number of posts.
I do make allowances for your ramblings because you've probably very little in your life, but don't expect me to sit there and not comment when you disagree with what I say.
As an adage in your babblings, it's loser not looser! You can't even have a pop proper! :D

I didn't think they were SJ and I certainly did not interpret them that way. Even had they been then there was no need to apologise.
