Did it not occur to you to mention it?
Some folk are actually taking the person on, so best to clarify the matter, eh?
Folk aren't all as sharp as you and need to be reminded?!

I agree he should get at least 8 matches but not according to the rules... typical make rules up then brake their own rules... Another joke!
Not true.
It's covered here

2.9 NORMAL SUSPENSION RANGES – GUIDELINES ONLY
Players and Clubs should be aware that the normal suspension ranges are guidelines only and the Tribunal has the discretion to step outside of the normal ranges in the following three circumstances:

- If the Compliance Manager seeks a higher sanction in the light of specified aggravating factors, and the Tribunal agree that such factors mean a higher sanction should be imposed;

- If the Tribunal has previously advised the Player that it will apply a higher sanction next time that Player is found to have committed a misconduct Offence; or

- If the Tribunal feels that in the light of the aggravating and mitigating factors present it is appropriate to step outside of the normal suspension range (irrespective of whether this has been requested by the Compliance Manager).

- In the even that a Player is found guilty of multiple charges, any suspensions should ordinarily be served consecutively.

you push up to stand up, the tackle was completed.

About the only thing that Toosmooth got right was that initially the players' (quite correct) reactions drew attention to the nature of the tackle. I thought it was the touch judge (at least, Thaler spoke to him at length) who was involved with calling the tackle as a foul. Odd that there was no signal of 'going on report' to accompany the yellow card.
At least Ferres may get some of his just desserts. He's always been a sneakily dirty player - punches on the blindside of the ref - trying to get a reaction when tacking a player by underhand (sometimes literally) tactics and generally being the sort of player who belongs in Union. Like to see him banned for the maximum (it can't be more) and given a warning about future conduct, so that any further transgressions would pick up a massive suspension.

I was going to reply to this comment formally but that would be giving it credence.

Suffice to say that you sound like the guy who says, when he punches someone, "His head hit my fist M'lud" :doz:

But would still have resulted in a ban for Ferres nonetheless. If,as you say, Ferres was a victim of circumstances then why has he issued an apology?
I haven't seen the apology. Please feel free to post a link. If someone gets hurt you apologise. Professional sportsmen, bar Sean Payton, are trying to win, not injure opponents.

If the "apology" is his tweet, here's what it said:

"I would never intentionally want to hurt a player n put them in a uncomfortable position. I apologised to Oliver Gildart n hope he's OK."

My questions:

(1.) Is this what you said when you were sh*gging a team-mate's wife?
(2.) How does "uncomfortable" equate to risking permanent damage to somebody's neck?
(3.) Could the public apology and your date at Red Hall be connected in any way?

Shouldn't be too suprised,it's Leeds. Ferres up most seasons for something like this. The whinos fans will feel it's too much. We'll feel it's too lenient. Hope Ollie comes out the other side fit and well.
