So how can Lockers be a problem unless you're meaning the problem of us "missing" him?

Lockers'absence is definitely a major factor. Various players in the side have been put forward as his successor, but they are huge boots too fill. It's probably too much to expect a single player to provide everything he does, at least in the immediate future.

But I also think a major issue is the absence of our first choice wingers, centres and second-rowers. No side in the league would stand a chance if they were in the same situation.

I think Bri hit the nail on the head; Fatigue! Players look tired to the point of shattered.

We shouldn't be anywhere near being tired so early on in the Season, we're only a short period of time after the WCC where we were (should have been) bouncing fit.
Come September is when we should be falling away, but I think with our returning players we will be fine.
With so many changes our structure is way out, and the pitch time of players playing together is low.
A large amount of these players didn't even feature in the WCC, so tiredness shouldn't be the issue, to me it's more familiarity of each other as a team.

Fatigued in the 80 minutes PM. I am guessing our players are as fit as anybody in SL, maybe even the NRL overall but players on the back foot become fatigued in the game they are presently taking part in.

We certainly looked a lot fitter than Hull and Hudds and we had the best of the second half with Cas, even though we had defended for a long period in the first half. In my view, we are the fittest team in SL.
