Let's just hope the Evil Greedy Tories don't sell off our Gold reserves behind our backs :eusa16:
Let's is a contraction of “let us.” You use it to make suggestions about what you and someone else should do. Let's is NOT a promise

In fairness he did sell it off in front of our faces........and got bottom dollar for it :D :D :D

What made me laugh is when he went out to the US after the crash to give them advice.

You couldn't make it up.

lets hope the evil tories don't sell of the national grid or other public service for prof..... oh wait.

but we should be okay we have a good manufacturing.... wait not that got sold off

we can buy good old engli.... no wait we sold it all to the indians and chinese.

but we will be okay May held hands with trump will will be first in any trad..... no wait hes already said thats not going to happen?

So apart from finding anyway to insult Corybn or Abbott, still haven't seen any reason why i should be voting Tory over Labour? i even asked Worm to give and example that isn't just a direct attack at a MP

more amusing was Mays interview yesterday, Labour go on and its all policies and a host trying to find anyway to catch them out.

may goes on.... how did you christian upbringing help.... whats it like not having children.....

i'm sorry for your situation, but as the future of the country is currently up in the air due to leaving the EU i don't give to S**ts about your family life i want to know your plan for our future and not hear strong and stable from a person who personal contradicted this statement so many times herself its laughable.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Irony is that Major was the last PM to do what was right for the country before party politics. He with his last budget set a long term recovery plan on what is always perceived as a bribe for votes with the election looming.

All others have put their own egos or party agenda ahead of what is was the correct thing to do.

Either way whoever gets in we will get austerity as the New world paymasters wants it.
Who are these "NewWorld Paymasters " you refer to. Pleas be specific or is it just a speech bite. ? Who do they pay? Can you get me some gratis :doz:

What a completely futile topic to debate on here. Neither side of this argument has a hope of convincing the other to change tack. Both sides can dig up whatever "facts" they want to point score. Sadly in the world we live in it's about image over substance that includes politics for the vast majority of Voters. I'm a council house boy from a Labour supporting family with a shop steward father not dissimilar to Jeremy C in conviction. I grew up listening to him eloquently arguing for better treatment of women in the workplace and I've recently dug up some speech notes about accepting recently arrived "Coloured" as equals. Socialism when espoused by such people is a noble idea unfortunately whilst there are humans involved it will never work. There will always be those who abuse it at the top and bottom until eventually it fails as those pinched in the middle feel abused. Most people basically sit slightly right of Centre, the recent successes at the polls of new labour and diluted Tory doctorine highlight that Whilst we have a hard left ( with idiots like Diane abbot associated) there is no chance Of labour mounting a challenge. The problem comes if as a consequence of having no opponents the hard right start to dominate. Having said it's futile I've now joined in!!!!

Whilst Labour have Corbyn and Len McClusky as poster boys then they've no chance of being elected. We do appear to be heading for a May majority, how large remains to be seen.
The new scenario is the emergence of around 100 Labour MP's who will oppose Corbyn if they suffer a bad elecoral defeat. This alters the maths quite a bit. Should Labour go down from 209 MP's to say 150 then 100 refusing Corbyn's whipped instructions then he could be left with just 50 PM's. Will he then resign?
How this develops is most interesting bit of this election to me.
The rest is just deception and spin.

It's a shame they do not have another John Smith biding his time, maybe then they wouldn't be such a laughing stock as they are
