Nay lad she's too clever and sensible for that lot. Look how it turned out, chaotic, none of them made any sense. The only opposition to the Torys is Labour BUT with Corbyn i/c we have no chance. He only as the backing of about a dozen of his own Mp's the rest voted no confidence in him. So we are up the river without a paddle. :with: :with:

did you know more Labour MPs resigned when Ed Millband took over than did for Corybn? Corybn has the backing of the labour party members, if in some miracle Labour do beat the conservs on the 8th watch how many MPs suddenly fall in line for a chance to in power. all parties are full of career politicians.

on last night i was disappointed, it had no value to the public as they wouldn't let each other finish, that has to be down to the host, they probably wanted cheap reality tv instead of a debate so allowed it to go out of control.

the thing i took out of last night was no one trusts may and the tories in other parties (not even UKIP)

Tim Fallon to me looks like hes more bothered about discrediting the tories that getting votes for the lib Dems, (have the resigned themselves that the best bet is a hung parliment?)

Tories are clutching at strays, it was Margaret Thatcher who said that if you resort to personal attacked it means you have no political argument. the attack about corybn forgetting his numbers in a interview earlier in the week made me laugh, ive listened to it and yes he didn't have it to hand but instead of making it up and being caught out he said give me a moment while i get them off my computer...

in short last night was nothing but cheap entertainment tv with no real debate and a 30 seconds per leader plea at the end.

A week out from the big day I feel the Tories have blown it,they have no message other Corbyn is...x,y and z,they rarely talk about any sort of policies at all now.

So can Labour win?umm I am going to say yes they can,it'll need luck and for May to carry on this hapless campaign but yes I think they could win,they'll have to tag team with the SNP to do it but it's very possible.

May even if she wins will scrape in by a couple of seats or another hung parliament she won't see the end either way as leader she's a busted flush,an empower who has many fine clothes but nothing else,a desperately bad leader.

Big mistake not turning up , hasn't got the answers, she said she was too busy meeting the people , guess what millions watched instead of a staged managed appearance in front of 30 people ignoring the general public who are held back behind street barriers, how people can not see this I don't know.
I was not a fan of JC before this election was called but he has gone up in my estimation the way he has conducted himself.
This 100+ majority the Tories expected looks a long way off in my humble opinion.
How long ago was it Call me Dave said we will have a referendum expecting to walk it , funny old world , the people have spoken once , wonder if it will happen again ?

You think Philip Green, who stole all the pensions from BHS workers and claims his wife owns Top Shop because she lives in Monaco, wants Corbyn in?
You think the politicians, both Labour and Tory, with their second homes and alcohol paid for by us, want him in?
You think Starbucks, paying near zero tax, wants him in?
You think bankers, with their multi million pound bonuses, want him in?

And do you think they don't have contact with May? Or with the media? You honestly think that these millionaires and billionaires are the sort of people that go “ah well, easy come easy go, it was nice while it lasted”?? I wouldn't be if my personal fortune was at risk, I'd be straight on the phone to Theresa May or Rupert Murdoch demanding this gets sorted immediately.

I'm not a big Corbyn fan, but this has a ring of truth to me.

You Tory supporters - tell me something JC has actually done to make you think he's no good. Not just labels like "lefty" but something real . . .

I just get sick of the constant BS all politicians spout. You could probably count on one hand the ones that haven't fiddled the system at some point or lied to us. IT CERTAINLY DOESN'T INSPIRE YOU

Despite all the dissing he has had from all quarters Corbyn has handled himself far better than any politician so far in this election.
I wasn't a fan of his before this all kicked off and I still don't think he's leader material, but is that odious slimeball May?
One thing that stands out though is his integrity and in politics that is a rare and shining beacon.

It seems to depend on how the 18-34 year olds vote.
Over 2m of them have registered to vote since the election was called but how many actually turn out to vote will remain an unknown until after the polls have closed.
The YouGov polling people have taken into account a much larger turnout from that age group, time will tell if they are right.
Also looks like she will take a pasting in London.
The Progessive Alliance folk reckon they've a good chance of messing up around 50 seats for the conservatives.
All makes for an interesting last week.

If May is "too clever for that lot" than I shudder to think what the intellectual level of today's political leadership is.
I think she is the least clever of any major party leader in my living memory and that is what really worries me going forward. She appears to be the only leader I can remember with no underlying political philosophy apart from being "strong and stable". I'm very strong and stable when I'm squatting in the gym but it's certainly not a philosophy to rank with welfare liberalism or neo conservatism.
But she was right not to attend, she would been eaten alive, she would have made Paul Nuttall look like a Rhodes Scholar.

She is quite simply a disaster as the tory leader,ive said it time and again,in these moentus times we need political giants and we have little miss gucci soundbite and the hippy,who does come across much better than anyone gave him credit for,but still.

Whoever wins i doubt they will steer this country with a steady hand on the tiller.

Slagging Corbyn off might as well be the Tory manifesto for what use it is!!
