I get the pointwillie c posted:

It was Millward who got rid of Newton if you read the article on http://www.wigantoday.net/ViewArticle2. ... ID=1230858 plus if you remember back to when Millward first came and Lindsay said he was keeping his nose out of the players business, so i think its Millward.

Re: Castleford
If you read Lindsay's comments in League Express you would know it was Millwards doing and that Lindsay 'always backs his coaches.'
Re: Castleford
I'd be very annoyed if IM got rid of Scully, he would be getting rid of more of the identity of Wigan. This season we lost Faz,O'conner,Cas,Connelly,Lam,Robinson and now Newton,Carney,Wild,Aspy. If we lose more playes our identity will disappear. it will just be a bunch of guy we don't know wearing Wigan shirts. Hell i can look around the south stand for that.
Re: Castleford
this is psycho as geoff for now sorry people......i think sculthorpe has been our second best prop thi season behind hargreaves who has majorly impressed me. sculthorpe....jsut his strength and his pace gonig forward and with his offloading skill to add to that he is a great addition to any team. just a shame he can't always control that temper of his. i mean the try against widnes at the halton stadium said it all about his power. ran from the touch line and charged over nearly skided into the barrieer but none the elss..... the power was there. quality that was

Re: Castleford
but wouldn't he be better....wouldn't they all if they had the tough asset of the game but not the penalty voilence side of the game on there side lol
Re: Castleford
Scully was superb in the last 3rd of the season, he stayed fit and kept his temper under control. He took the ball up very hard and did alot more work for longer periods, most of all he stopped trying to offload everytime he took the ball up, if you do it everytime the opposition are ready for it and it becomes dangerous and effective, if he picks his moments better and people run off him more it is truely devastating. He does have the best offload in the league, and I include Lauatiti in that aswel. I would be very annoyed if he was allowed to leave, he is a ball player and you would have thought the way he plays he would suit the style of play Millward wants to bring in.
Also there is mention that he is going on loan to Cas for a season, maybe they plan to loan him out and bring him back as Seuseu's contract runs out at the end of next year.

Re: Castleford
Millward doesn't want him, 'cos he's a penalty liability who's temprament is the same as Newtons. Look at the video of the Saints game and they were both looking to kick off with opposition. Obviously giving him a year to sort his head out, or it'll be a permanent move. Good move IMO. Shame we couldn't get King ourselves!
The only way is up....!
Re: Castleford
I think the loan deal is a good move as well. The club (and fans!) can take an objective look at him when he gets to play week-in, week-out RL.Lancaster Rugby posted:

I agree Millward has probably done this due to Sculthorpes temprament.
I actually don't think we will miss him much at all given the signings and also because Hargreaves great form last season. IMO Hargreaves had the better form up til l he got injured.
If the injury jinx comes back to haunt us as it is a loan I am sure he could be called back.
The club has been critisised for getting rid of players rather than loaning them out as Leeds do, so it looks like we have learnt a lesson.
it also says on the official site the salaray cap came into it and I bet he is on a fair old whack so I have no reason not to beleive it did.
