Top 4
With saints winning and comfortably and improving their already superior points difference (wigan 5th place at this moment in time) we definitely can not slip up again we have to win Both cas and wakey games, as saints will comfortably beat Salford in their last game IMO.
If we beat cas Sunday then I do think we will get that top 4 place, but a loss then where relying on Salford beating saints and us beating wakey, going to be bloody tight finish lol

Re: Top 4
sadly if we lose vs Cas i can see top 4 gone even if we beat wakefield (in no way a given)
but Cas are without gale (unless he has a magic recovery) his kicking game was opening a lot of last play options for Cas. going to be interesting and tense this wek.

These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Ideal scenario is Hull losing at Cas and Salford beating Saints with us coming away from Wakey with a win.
A win over Cas would be a massive boost

Our fate is in our own hands - who'd have thought we'd be in this position just a few weeks back!Wiganer Ted wrote:Ideal scenario is Hull losing at Cas and Salford beating Saints with us coming away from Wakey with a win.

Wakey have not done us any favours in last two games - if only Grix had even kicked the ball away from the posts v Saints that could have been a draw and a draw v Hull would have helped.
Down to us now.

Said at the start it was too big an ask, wigan will stumble either against Cas or Wakey and it's game over sadly, hope I'm wrong but much like this season the side have flattered then faultered.
More than happy to retract this if it all goes well of course

Re: Top 4
If we don't win our last two games then we don't deserve to be in the top 4. Sorry but that's how simple it is.
Given that some folk insisted when we got our injured players back we"d sweep all before, then it's proof time!

Well, quite. Proof, if proof were needed, that our squad isn't actually as good as some of us think/thought it was.Wandering Warrior wrote: Given that some folk insisted when we got our injured players back we"d sweep all before, then it's proof time!
And a reminder that, unless there are some new faces brought in, which is currently looking unlikely, it will hard to expect a much better showing next season.
