Excuses on a Post Card Please

Post by shaunedwardsfanclub »

Today's performance sums up our season, clueless and boring. To add to that we now seem to have lost our backbone. There is obviously something badly wrong in the club, hopefully action will now speak louder than words as we look like a club in decline. SL is a woeful competition, we have the best junior set up in the game, excellent training facilities a wealth of backroom staff and yet we are getting turned over easily by sides we should be beating comfortably. IFL has taken his eyes of the ball and his infatuation with the Business Club is having a detrimental effect on playing standards. We are Wigan and the supporters deserve much better than what we have got this season.

Injuries without a doubt has cost us a top 4 spot. We did improve to a point. Even if we did finish in the top 4 we would be beaten in the next game we are poor.

But there is no excuse in the performances over the last 2 weeks and the CC final.

These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Lost for words; totally inept and embarrassing. We don't have a right to win something every season, but we do have a right to see the club that we support being properly coached and managed. And yet I still get the impression that the management is in denial about the situation and the absolute frustration of most fans. I've never, ever before been glad to see the end of the season, but this year I am and will have no anticipation for next season unless something changes. And to hear yet again that "we didn't turn up" is a disgrace. Just whose job is it to make sure that we did turn up? Sorry Shaun, if you love this club as you claim (and I believe you do) you'll admit that you've reached your limit and do the honourable thing. You can take this club farther - but unfortunately in the wrong direction.
