Leuluai named in Kiwis’ squad

Post by josie andrews »

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

So the Kiwis think he is still good enough albeit probably in the No 9 shirt, perhaps Waney needs to take note.

Well done to Tommy, I'm sure they'll play him in his best position of hooker. That New Zealand squad really gives England a chance of being runners up in the tournament.

Tommy at 9 would solve many of our problems... great man and servant of the game.

As a scrum half for us this season he’s underwhelmed, I’m sure we signed him as a hooker though and the kiwis always prefer him at 9 too.

Has anybody asked him what he’s preder to play 9 or 7?

Nah, we signed him as a straight replacement for Smith, but the club did expect Shorrocks to be slowly introduced into the team.
