Correct she was sat close to us at Swinton in the cup game with their children who had Wigan shirts on. I must say he's done very well for himself, she's a stunning looking lady.shaunedwardsfanclub wrote:Not true, she was at many of the games.josie andrews wrote:FPN’s play deteriorated because his wife hated it here! Would any of you do or be able to do your job to your capability if every time you got home you got earache?
She never attended any games she didn’t socialised with the other players wives & they didn’t attend team/club get togethers!

Putting any discussion about his family aside, is anybody absolutely certain if he's staying or going? If he's staying surely that means there won't be any significant signings this offseason?

"at times " is a turn of phrase.DaveO wrote:Being played out of position "at times" is not the same as being asked to play a different game in your own position permanently.widdenoldboy wrote:IIRC didn't Wane suffer by being played out of position for Wigan at times?DaveO wrote: I think FPN looks like a fish out of water. It's not a new thing for Wigan to sign a player and then ask him to play different than what his strengths are. We did it before Wane was coach as well, as in Moran! We seem to have made the same mistake several times since Wane took over.
IIRC he played prop, 2nd row and maybe Loose forward? He was on the small side even then, makes it odd that we seem to be carrying on with it. Hope FPN stays and hope he gets some of his best form back, we have seen precious little.

He wasn’t at the End of Season Dinner
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Not true, she was at many of the games.
