Starting

8.FPN
9.Tommy
10.Clubb
11.Joel
12.Faz
13.Lockers
Switching to this as the game progressed
1.Morgan
2.Davies

5.Burgess
6.Sam
7.Williams
8.FPN
9.Powell
10.Clubb

13.Hamlin
Hopefully Wane has learnt packing your bench with props (these props anyway) isn't effective and totally predictable. I'd even be tempted to start with Hamlin and bring on Lockers only if needed.
Tbh replacing Joel with Bateman those teams look very good, the change in dynamic of the second team will catch a tiring team off guard.

Re: Friday's Team
I think Waney will play it safe' with Sam at 1 and Powell at 7. I think he intends to rotate Tommy with Jake Shorrocks whilst Morgan won't be picked and Sean won't be fit (he'll be named in the 19 though).
Re: Friday's Team
I've not seen anyone say he's injured, just that he wasn't quite right for the friendly at Leigh. I'm worried that they'll go with that line for another week and save him for Aus.DaveO wrote:Isn't Lockers injured?

Re: Friday's Team
With the first three games against Salford, Hull FC and Warrington all away I think Waney will go with his strongest available squad.
S Tomkins,
Davies, Sarginson, Gildart, Burgess.
Williams, Powell,
Clubb, Leuluai, Flower,
J Tomkins, Farrell,
Isa.
Bench - FPN, TT, Sutton, Escare.
With Lockers & Bateman rumoured not playing I reckon that 17 isn't far off his best.
Salford with their opening game at home v us will give it everything and it we will be in a tough match.
Think we'll win it in the last 20 with better fitness and a bit extra class.

Re: Friday's Team
Expect Powell at 7 and Sam at FB,
Isa on the bench and no Hamlin.
