Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has been giving his thoughts on rugby league to two of the game's top administrators.
Hearn and his father Barry were urged to become involved in the 13-man rugby code following the departure of both Rugby Football League chief executive Nigel Wood and Super League executive director Roger Draper.
Ralph Rimmer, who is the RFL's interim chief executive, told a media briefing in January he would be happy to talk to the Matchroom Sport duo and - along with marketing executive Mark Foster - met Eddie Hearn at a scheduled meeting at a London hotel.

Eddie Hearn meets with Rugby Football League administrators
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

RFL hope Eddie Hearn can help raise rugby league's profile
Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has offered to get involved in rugby league.
The Rugby Football League is to take up an offer from the boss of Matchroom Sport to pass on tips designed to raise the profile of the sport.
There is no suggestion that Hearn will seek to emulate the achievement of his father Barry in transforming the fortunes of snooker and darts but he expressed an interest in rugby league during a meeting with RFL interim boss Ralph Rimmer and marketing chief Mark Foster.

Our sport has stagnated for too many years give him a go can't do any harm we've got a great product run by shortsighted amateurs , Koukash was pilloried for trying to improve the game without forward thinkers the game will drift into insignificance
