Fully agree. Powell hasn't been great, but at least he's put in a few decent kicks, and Williams has offered nothing.

Williams isn't the only one who has been rubbish though. Massive changes needed next year as some of the players just aren't good enough. Leuluai needs to be moved upstairs, they can't offer him another playing contract, Tautai is completely ineffective, Williams looks lost, he had no idea what to do whe the ball comes to him.

Williams is bang average atm,not that his supporters would have you believe after breaking out the stats etc,he’s this years Hampshire for me,the more I see of him the more I feel he’s levelled out with no further peaks to come from him.

The only decent kicks came from Tommy. Why we didn't at least try Escare at FB - Sam in the halves and Tommy at hooker for a longish spell was beyond me. Sam P may try but that's all he really has to offer. He would probably be fine in a side that was winning easily all the time but he doesn't have the spark to start a comeback when we are struggling.
And I'm afraid George really does need a rest. I don't know what's gone wrong this season but he's barely a shadow of the player that he has been.

Our 5th tackle plays were dire and that cost us the energy battle in the first half. Wire managed to get repeat sets or at least having us come off our line far too often.
