Bateman is a good player but has dropped off some way from the outstanding player that he was a couple of seasons back.

His leaving would be a loss but not a disaster, PROVIDED we use the money to buy a game breaker and not rely on the "project" players.

Agreed pre mossop incident I’d have said he was a very to be a worthy marquee player since then he’s stood still at best

Imo his progression stalled once Josie got a top with his name on, I could see the tear in Lockers eye as he pulled the knife out of his back

Was talking to lockers last week Josie smiled when I mentioned you. We was at national cup semi finals at Crossfields. his son plays opposite centre to my grandson in same team. They won 22-6 and will now play the curtain raiser at challenge cup final so at least one lockers will be there told him after match better make it a double family affair. all booked and looking forward to watching both my grandson and Wigan walk out at Wembley.
