He'd be half a season too late if he did. The injuries probably saved Wane last season but the attack today was as bad as any from last season or the season before that had people complaining.

The team plays like this far too often for any coach tlo keep his job. Thrashing weak teams ought to be seen for what it is.

Lenegan will be furious as a trip to Wembley is a money spinner but regardless of that Lenegan is now on the spot. I'd be surprised if he does sack him now but whether he does or not it's all on Lenegan to come up with a top coach to get things back on track and not go for a "project" coach like Winder.

I wish it were simples. He'd not stand for players messing about but I don't think he will be the next coach. Too many offers in RU that will pay more and if I were him I'd be wary of the IL and Rads leadership.
