He owns the club. He ain't selling. No one wants to buy it. So he's going nowhere. Even if he could - who replaces him?
no one wants to buy your house until you put it up for sale.
I think he's underperformed and because squad building is reactive not proactive he should find out if someone comes forward .Now whelans gone there might be more business people who'll look at it.
Would a business owner be willing to buy and put in money they know they will not get back. For all his faults he had won more in SL cap era than we did before. Amazes me we lose a game or two and the toys get chucked out of the pram.

Most players educate themselves/learn a trade for when they retire, how do you know that this isnt the case and that Rads not only have the relevent qualification but would have been shadowing the previous role owner before getting the job.

of course i could be conpletely wrong as like you i have no real idea.
Well i suppose you can only judge him off his performance, and if his role is top attract talent to the club and keep players between the lines he has failed on both fronts
Little doubt about it the club is stale there is an arrogance about the club from management down to playing staff, the ridiculous Oz trip is a prime example they’ll never admit to it but I suspect it barely broke even certainly it didn’t make much of a profit if any,it did piss plenty of people off,the crowds at the dw tell you that, you keep crapping on people they will desert you, add in the chuckle brothers, bruiser Bateman you have a receipe to annoy people.

Quite why Rads should escape any criticism is beyond me he oversees things so he has to take the blame as other are pointing out he’s part of the problem this boorish culture at the club,is he qualified for his job I’d say no was it him who gave Navarette a 3 year deal presumably off the back of 4 game or so,made williams marquee player?over seen a parade of talent leave the club then yes he has questions to answer if not pubilcally then to lenegan cerainly.

Seems to me that IL is allowing Rads to run the club akin to DW and MO. IL needs to have a long look at what is going on and change things. If it carries on 2006 could happen again.

one result ,the squad has been run into the ground over the last few years im suck of commenting on wane and his lack of game plan and tactics .
im a season ticket holder ,there are less and less in the ground on match days and almost no atmosphere mainly due to a derth of excitement on the pitch .Something has to change before to club shrinks any further.
I agree its going on along time. But not many if any were critical of this season until the HKR game and Wire.

just one example , we haven't had a decent centre since george carmont packed in ,how long ago is that .I could go on and on but to say recruitment has been abysmal over the last few seasons would be an understatement.
Centre choices has been shocking. Inu was available yet went to Widnes better than our 2. Whoever does our recruited needs firing now.

In my humble opinion he has done well for the club but has been misled by people currently in charge or running the club whilst he is not so "hands on" anymore, people who are not qualified to be in the position they are in

Some key recruitment need to be made and this is not beyond reasonable
I'm a better fan than you
Because I don't "Boo"!!!

Yes I bloody know transfer fees do not count on the salary cap for those illiterates that need it explaining to them because they assume everyone is as thick as they are

I've just got home from hospital and on reading this forum been made aware of current events It's a total disgrace. I mainly agree with the points made by Davo regarding the management of the club or should I say more accurately it's mismanagement. Someone questioned Dave on is evidence which surprised me because the evidence is there staring us all in the face. I said on more than one occasion that in my opinion there should be a full clear out of management. Recruiting and coaching. The appointment of "Madge" was IL's finest appointment. The rest have been downhill. Appointments made purely on passion for the club is patently misguided and now we have Madge telling us that our present hooker would make an excellent coach because of is great knowledge of the game. Sorry Madge but knowledge in isolation doesn't make for a good coach otherwise any RL anarach would be in with a shout. I could go on but what Ihave to say about RL in general and the players in particular would be insulting.so I will refrain. I think some hard decisions regarding the club going forward will need to be made The acid test is have we the people who have the courage and nous to make them. As a poster said earlier interesting time for the club and fans ahead
