According to Brian Carney on sky on Thursday Hastings could well be a Wiga nplayer next season. Thoughts?

It was posted on this site before Carney’s comments but to be fair he is usually in the know. I have seen him play on a few occasions and I think he is a very good player who will fit in well.

I was talking to Martin Gleeson on Wednesday, we started chatting about Terry Newton at first cos he knew I was a friend of Terry's & that it's coming up to the Anniversary of his death, then about the 2010 GF & then game last week v Saints. He said there was no way Saints would have won that game ????

I then commented on how well Salford were playing since they got Hastings & that they need to keep hold of him.

He replied that they are a small club with not a lot of money & it's going to be very hard to keep him!

I just hope they carry on winning & beat Toronto today ????

Well I tuned in yesterday to watch him. Fell asleep ( being the grumpy old bugger that I am), woke up to see him knock on. Fell asleep again, woke up for the last few minutes to see him take that lads head off. So I would say we should avoid him but maybe I should have just slept for the whole game!
