Re: Jackson Hastings
So is he signing then?
It all seems to have gone quiet. Maybe IFL is coppering up after his losses.

IL said in his tv interview that we might be looking for a new 7.
It would be unlike him to mention a position if the player being sought was not already signed.
There might be visa issues to be settled but a signing in principle could have been agreed.

Re: Jackson Hastings
One of the trade papers seems certain that he's staying at Salford which would be a shame. Let's hope they're as inaccurate as usual. If we miss out on Hastings, now that the Laclan Lam deal seems to have gone cold, I assume we'll be sticking with Tommy, Sam P, Morgan and Josh Woods next season.

Hastings has signed on for another year with Salford. Who do we turn to next?

Re: Jackson Hastings
We have got loads of players who have/could play there but that is not the same as should. We could suffer from a serious lack of pace and imagination although there could be a left field candidate in someone like Mullen who seems to be being tried in a range of positions or Hankinson who has also played across the backs. Otherwise we need to breed from the ones that we have got to produce the perfect player with the speed of Morgan, the passing and kicking of Woods, the tackling of Tommy and Shorrocks's er …………..

If he's wanting to showcase himself for a trip back to oz he's not done himself a favour.

Re: Jackson Hastings
I’d have liked him to come to Wigan but he genuinely seemed to have enjoyed his time at Salford plus it seems he only fancies it for a year so good luck to him
