Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

'Some Wigan Warriors players are disgracing themselves', blasts Brian Carney
Brian Carney has lashed out following Gabe Hamlin's suspension - and branded some of Wigan's players "absolutely disgraceful".
Aussie prop Hamlin has returned home after being charged with a UK Anti-Doping violation.
His suspension came a week after fringe first-teamer Craig Mullen was charged with drink-driving.
And former Warriors crowd-pleaser Carney had a strong message to the current Wigan players during a hard-hitting interview with Sky Sports News. He said:
"There are players at that club that are disgracing themselves. They are letting the club down and the supporters. "There are people paying money and going to support them every week.
"We have had Zak Hardaker pre-season on a drink driving charge, Craig Mullen in recent weeks on drink driving and now we've got a UK anti doping agency violation by Gabe Hamlin.
"I will say this to the players: 'Who do you think you are?'
"You are not the club. The people who go every week are the club. You are letting yourself, your fellow players and the supporters and Kris Radlinski and Ian Lenagan down. "They are absolutely disgraceful, some of these players."

He his bang on with what he says, they have had Tomkins Brothers,Hardhaker,Mullen and now Hamlin, its about time the management stepped in and did some thing about it,we are the laughing stock of all the other rugby league teams,we get two good wins together looking like a team they used to be and now this happens.

'Who do you think you are?', Short memory, Remember how he acted when he wanted to go to the NRL before spitting his dummy at not being allowed back

We also had the incident with Mossop and Bateman (although never publicised) and Feka years ago.
Maybe the internal culture and structures of the club are the issue ?
Always seems to be Wigan most of the time with incidents like this.

Carney is right, the club are a disgrace taking into account offences committed over the past few seasons and that includes signing Hardaker.

Other clubs are just better at hiding it
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.
