Andy Farrell's son!
Can anyone tell me if Farrell's son has also switched codes? Everyone talks about him being an excellent prospect and Wigan being very excited about him. Have we indeed lost him to Union also?
Re: Andy Farrell's son!
Not that I know off Martin. I spotted him at SJF today, I presume his school broke up earlier. I will try to find out. He is on our scholarship scheme etc and I know he was given a programme to work upon whilst down South. I think the crux will come in a year or two after he's gained Union experience.
He's very much like his dad in terms of skills

Ive played against Owen before. In the Schools semi-final. And i can say he absolutley tore us apart!!
He batterd us!!
Other people who have a very exciting future are:
Anthony Griffiths
Pat O'neill and Stephan Marsh
By the way just to prove how much he tore us apart in that match.

Thanks fellas, it's a good thing as so many people speak so highly about him. Let's hope he follows in his fathers foot steps and we one day see him in the famous cherry and white hoops.
Re: Andy Farrell's son!
BTW for those old enough to remember Pat O'Neil is the son of ex Wigan hooker Paul O'Neil
I did once think there was an outside chance of seeing Faz, Owen and Sean O'Loughlin in the same Wigan team. Obviously not now.

Lol Owen is what, 15/16? For Owen to of played in the same team as Faz, Faz would of had to of stayed playing for another 2-3 years. Making him well into his early 30's.
Re: Andy Farrell's son!
Well Faz moving to prop he could have played until he was 35+ IMO. I kid you not. Owen if he continued to improved could have broke into the first team at 16/17. A longshot but it was possible.
Re: Andy Farrell's son!
Might not be that important but Owen is only 13/14...... I know he's in Y9.....but does play for St Pats age group above his own.SiY posted:

........and on the 8th day, God made Wigan Warriors!
