Just an interesting fact and i think i have mentioned it in an earlier thread, but Richards was the fastest man in the NRL the season before last. I have seen a lot of Richrads tries and he is very long striding with a very powerful hand-off.

I think Richards would be an amazing asset as a winger, but i think as a centre he may do even better, he came here because he wanted to play centre, he will know what the winger wants and his experience on the wing and the size of him, can only help. I think if Vaealiki is back in shape, we could have the best centres in super league on our hands. Move over Jamie Lyon

I don't know where you get your facts from but Pat Richards was never the fastest player in the NRL. His pace is not the important things about his game it's his strength and skill that have made him a great player.

I think your find he was, it was on an NRL web-site not too long ago, and it was also mentioned some time shortly after he announced he was coming to Wigan on the T.V. And mate, having fantastic speed is a very important part of his game.
