Must admit I like them myself - just wouldn't want to be sat directly in front of them! Think we would probably miss them if they weren't there. Why not give the drummer his own place in that viewing area at the top of the west stand - preferably right behind Stevo :D
THING IS WITH THAT YOU KNOW WERE THEY SIT AS IN THE EAST STAND THEY HAVE RESERVED SEATS,so you know were they are if you dont like sit somewhere else i stand on the back row right next to binder senior and binder junior   :doz:
Didn't realise this debate was still festering along - if you read what I said Mike I said I like the drums but wouldn't want to be sat in front of them - didn't say I was near them. I am a season ticket holder so couldn't just sit elsewhere if something bothered me but fortunately where the drums are concerned our three seats are in a position to hear them without them causing us any bother.

Morons!!! The morons
Some are morons. From my experience sitting in the South Stand, the majority are good, sensible people. I sit in South Stand not for the drummers, but because I can't really afford to sit elsewhere and I enjoy the atmosphere in SS.

I hope we enjoy more games this season than last. I've heard a rumour, however, that IM doesn't think we are anything above top 5 material at best, can't win the GF, and that the Challenge Cup is our only hope of success and is where we will be targetting our efforts!!

I've got to say that if this is true I am hugely disappointed. We have had as much time and money to sort ourselves out as anybody else - if this squad is not good enough to challenge the top teams, why not?

Well if that's true I'm worried.
A coach shouldn't be saying things like that, he's basically already given up and if he has then so has the team so is thisanother waste of money? Are we going to be 'looking forward to next season' by March again?

I wanna see a bit of belief again like the youngsters were showing a couple of seasons ago, they were written off before even playing but went out every single game and showed pride and passion for the club and the game in general. We've now got experienced RL players and a so called amazing coach why the hell can we not compete for top spot or a couple of trophies?

Saying that though, Milly is a bit of amind game player might be the kind of thing we want other coaches believing so they underestimate us.

I really don't think Millward would say this, and i certainly don't think he believes it! The squad this year looks very talented to me! Massive pace in the backs, (i think the fastest in the league) and a solid pack with a bit of cover. I think we will certainly be one of the top three teams this season. Certainly on paper we should!

I find it very hard to believe that Millward would say this. One of the coaches biggest responsibilities is to ensure that the team is very motivated and has belief that they will win every game. We know that it is impossible to win every game but they still have to believe it. From some of the comments that he has made in the press and online I get the impression that he is really looking forward to this season and beleives that we are top 3 or 4 material at least.

I think basil is playing mind games, hes saying 5 just to keep our feet on the floor a little,i beleive hes target is 3rd spot and hopeing for a top 2 spot ,but which team i s coming out and saying well be in top2 apart from the sts fans who think its all theres this season allready .they think everybody else is going in with weaker squads and theres is built on expereince .I beleive this is the season were the sts oaps will get caught out and have to start a rebuild programme over the next few years have we have just done.BRING ON THURSDAY CANT WAIT

So much depends on injuries - ours and the other top teams'.
I'm confident that if our horrendous luck with injuries recently has come to an end, we can finish top.
In fact, although I'm not usually a betting man, I've got £20 on at 10/1 for us to finish top. The winnings will cover our tickets for the GF and CC finals!

Always optimistic! :D
