Last Monday the trade press were saying that Catalan were interested in signing Ben but the club weren't keen on letting him go until the full extent of Burgess's hip problem was known .
Probably not quite there as I'd imagine the club knew of the hip injury and its extent at the time. What has happened in training may have changed things.
