of course he wants to play in the NRL it is his home country & the pinnacle of the sport. not one single person on here said anything when George Williams was flirting with the NRL and holding the club to ransom. demanding Marquee wages from his hometown club or else he was leaving.
Jackson has proved he is a loyal guy, everyone knows he has a clause in his contract, so when asked about it would you rather he lied or said it how it is?
Until he gives us a reason to question his commitment or effort then I think we need to give the kid a break, especially with all that's going on in the world right now.

Agreed, it's as if some people think he should have season long love-ins with the club (thanks social media !), some comments from folk on here at times don't sound like they are at all fans of the club, with negative vibes running through threads on here, which is called "Wiganwarriorsfans", btw !
He’s asking on Instagram how he can fly back to oz at the moment So doesn’t look like the season going to be starting anytime soon - just hope he doesn’t get stuck out there
I think the thing with Hastings is he was over the top love in with Salford - he’s come here and I think many fans feel like he’s not come here to be part of Wigan he’s come to put himself in a better shop window for the nrl whereas I felt he genuinely wanted to win things at Salford for Salford I think he genuinely wants to win things at Wigan for his stock

He's not doing anything that most of us havn't done or experienced in the past, at work. How many times have you had a new workmate appear on the shop floor, or in the office or whatever and their sole topic of conversation was how things were at the last place they, or you, worked, because that's all they have in common with their new workmates, the job. After a couple of weeks when they get their feet under the table, so to speak, and become familiar with the new surroundings and workmates, they fit in and become one of the boys. All that 'last place I worked' talk goes out of the window.
Hastings socialising with the Salford players and coach is normal behaviour, but he's moved on and no hard feelings, it's all about money and the future and his best memories at present are from his days at Salford.
Good luck to the lad, let's hope we can enjoy a full season from him when things get back to normal.
