REFEREE FOR CATALANS!

Post by turf »

Our referee for the first game is Ashley Klein. Oh well, I suppose it's is better than who Castleford and Hull have ended up with. They have ended up with Karl Kirkpatrick, god help them!!! What do you lot say?

it is very worrying but probably true, but when Klein refs we also have a ref in the stands .Watch the game and have a look how many times he touches his ear so cummings can make the desicion in the stand.Watched him close at the gf last year i was sat close to the front all major decesions are not made by him :doz:

That goes for all the televised games, and possibly the non-televised games as well. This even goes for internationals, it's long been said that the reason Morley was sent off after 12 seconds in that test match was as much a result of the 4th official watching the replays whilst the Aussie player was receiving treatment and then saying to Ganson he thought it was a red card offense, as much as anything the ref on the pitch decided.

Typical Ganson, first tackle of the match and he reckons he wasn't in a good position? What was he doing then? But I've also heard Ganson at one of those kind of events, and he thinks he's a bit of a comedian so maybe he was joking...? (but it's more likely he was just admitting he has no idea where he should position himself to see the game, which we all know!).

Yes but it was the correct decision
Indeed, but why wasn't Ganson able to say straight away that it was the right decision, without needing help from above, so to speak? It was the first tackle of the game, on the player with the ball. If he wasn't watching that, what was he looking at??!!

Ganson is a muppet. He was at Winstanley College at the same time as I was. Everybody used to laugh at him then and they still do now.

Klerin will be okay, better than some we could have had
