Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Given the lack of news on Powell, I presume it is COVID related, for which I wish him a safe speedy recovery, but in his absence do we presume Tommy to 9 and Smith getting a start at 7?

Thats True; I was basing my presumption on the fact he wasn’t mentioned as being sidelined through injury. Either way wish him well.josie andrews wrote:Not necessarily, he injured his ankle v Huddersfield last game out!ManxWarrior wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 12:08 pm Given the lack of news on Powell, I presume it is COVID related, for which I wish him a safe speedy recovery, but in his absence do we presume Tommy to 9 and Smith getting a start at 7?

I know we want O’Loughlin involved as much as possible as he is retiring, still think it could be a mistake playing him.
We are playing well without him and we’re not missing the penalties he gives away

Think Tommy goes to 9 Harry at 7 I'd put Lockers on the bench think he'll be more suited coming on if and when needed than starting

Lockers on the bench instead of G Burgess. At least lockers is versatile & can play anywhere in the middles, forwards & half back come to that!
