Re: Joe Greenwood Leaving ?
Such a frustrating player on his day class but all to often blighted by injury and poor form.
Will he be missed I suppose depends on what version of the player turned up on the day

Can't see too much resulting from this speculation. Would leave us light unless we have a replacement lined up.
Good to see a coach of Watsons calibre recognising Greenwood's ability though.

It wouldn’t leave us light since Bateman is coming in.CheshireWarrior wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 10:44 pm Can't see too much resulting from this speculation. Would leave us light unless we have a replacement lined up.

It is understood the Yorkshire club have set their sights on landing the 27-year-old forward for 2021.
Greenwood is under contract with Wigan for next season.
At the start of this year he slipped down the pecking order and even joined Leeds on loan, without playing any games due to lockdown.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Not really happy about this as I till think Joe is a great asset to us. His off loading skills alone merit us keeping him.
Is Watson wanting to make Huddersfield the new Salford?

Don’t get this. You want the best squad you can have, starting 11 and on the bench, and I think we need greenwood he offers his size and offload on the edges.

Couldn't agree more, I think we have strength in-depth with an 'awesome foursome' of Faz, Batty, Isa and Greenwood. Touch wood none have any season ending injuries next season but at least we have experienced options.
