Thanks for that I only asked as ive yet to hear a fan confident of getting him fit to be honest.

I am told that GB is going to have another period of prolonged rest and if that doesn't work then an operation.

But hes had plenty of rest though, lets be brutally honest here hes barely played for 18 months or more how much more rest does he need before they either force him to have the op (and that'd settle the issue once and for all)

In the run up to Christmas I have now reached the same kind of weight and fitness level so I was thinking of offering my services. After Christmas I expect to be even more suitable for a George Burgess replacement.

Isn't he crocked, knee issue? Three years ago looked like being one of the very best fact he would be available tells it's own story. Similar situation to George Burgess if fit very good but a big "if".
