2021 fixtures
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

2021 fixtures announced
Betfred Super League fixtures confirmed
Exciting run of home fixtures in peak summer holiday period
Three double-header weekends planned across July and August
It’s a day that we’ve been excitedly awaiting for many months… and the full fixture list for the 2021 Betfred Super League season has now been confirmed.
Off the back of recent teasers confirming our opponents for the first two rounds, the Rivals Round and Magic Weekend, the full 25 round calendar has now been confirmed, with the Warriors’ home campaign heavily weighted towards the summer holiday months, which hopefully ensures the highest possible stadium capacities for some keenly-anticipated encounters.
A run of eight home games in a 12-round spell between the weekends of 17-20th June and 26-27th August will include DW Stadium match-ups with notable opponents Warrington Wolves (1st/2nd July), St Helens (19th-22nd August) and Leeds Rhinos (26-27th August), meaning that the fixture list highlights all sit in the ideal summer months.
The home derby with newly-promoted Leigh Centurions (1st/2nd August) will fall as part of three mouth-watering double header weekends across July and August, where a Thursday or Friday night fixture will be quickly followed by either a Sunday afternoon or Monday fixture, with the last of those being an August Bank Holiday trip to Castleford Tigers (Monday 30th August).
As you’ll see from the list below, the vast majority of fixtures are currently listed by weekend rather than a fixed date, as these will be finalised in due course when the situation regarding the return of fans to stadia is formalised.

Re: 2021 fixtures
Although it didn’t happen last season, a decision was made not to crowd Easter with 2 games in 4 days.
Yet if I read the fixture list correctly we have Warrington at home on ? Thursday July1, and Saints away on the Sunday 3 days later.
And again 29 July and 1 August.
It seems a big ask for the team, or am I reading it wrong?
