Warrington and St Helens announce new players they sign or about to sign but nothing coming from Wigan not a hint of we are on the outlook for new players which may bring a glimmer of hope for the fans
Which players have Wire and Saints announced they are going to sign for next season?

I was interested with Castlefords ceo interview on the super league show the other day,Tanya asked him “do you feel in the past you’ve taken fans for granted”?

His reply was simple “yes”fans across the sport have happily forgone last seasons season ticket money without hesitation but they will want a far more open policy from the club in return, carry on in the old way and fans will walk away from the sport this huge break we’ve all endured has broken habits of going to the game.

Wigan need to take all this on board for the future, treat people poorly and they simply won’t return (let’s be fair the club is losing fans as it is)so while I’m not expecting chapter and verse from the club this odd silence the club has needs to end.

Can't think of any Rouges but Wire have announced a new coach.
If our club did the same I'd be very happy!

I think lammy needs to be given to the enf of the season…… i must admit he was unlucky last season as i firmly believe the best team lost in the final……. Hes tried to please the supporters with team selection and improving our right sides attack……i do however think hes made some very odd decisions recently……. Bibby centre/zak wing……bateman loose forward…..shorrocks centre….. all really baffling……we are 100% in the league but havent yet played well imo……he keeps going on about players returning but we have had our most creative players fit…… bar tommy its been mostly threequarters who have been injured…… i get the feeling when tommy, marshy and gilly come back we will be expected to play better stuff…..after all its himself who has said this is coming…….i do think that tommy to hooker will improve us immensely… spelling him and sam can only improve us….. im not into the hasting at hooker thing…….. its gonna make it an interesting season and as most people have said rightly, its our fitness that is getting us through

We need to get on the front foot from the start of our sets. That means our backs taking the ball and scooting from dh. When they do that with pace and energy they, when tackled, are quick off the floor and another back doing the same gets us going forward. Wigan teams have done that successfully for years. It isn't happening now.

Hardaker will be fb, so a back line of Manfredi, Isa, Gildart and Bibby could very well get us on the front foot. If we make every play with Powell at dh then we'll continue as we are now. Lam needs to shake it up and vary our plays.

We are happy with the seven wins out of seven but there is a loss in the team as Hull proved. Even if we kept on winning and crowds return I'm not sure how many fans will want to watch the dross being played week in week out. The players are capable of so much more, they just need a coach who can get more out of them.

Dross may be a little harsh but consistency maybe something they are working on, currently the penalties are really hurting us and we are somehow hanging in there and then turning it around.

Next couple of matches will be interesting with Catalans and a resurgent Huddersfield both away - playing the likes of Leigh, Salford & York are they papering over the cracks? Now we have some tougher challenges so we will see. Hopefully Gilldart Tommy & Liam back in contention and fingers crossed Bevan not out too long and we will see where we really are...

I think the lack of consistency is down to team selection, much of it forced by injury. If you compare to Liverpool this football season, 1st 3 centre backs all missing, meaning midfielders playing out of position. Whilst you can argue that they are 1st team players, they arent centre backs and therefore you are missing something from the midfield

our back line has been different every game this season (1st choice FB absent, 1st choice wingers and centre missing injured, half back missing (Hastings and Tommy), with 2nd rowers filling in at centre for the majority. Whilst they have done a good job, they arent centres and we have been missing them in the pack

If we can run with Zak, Manfredi, Bibby, Gildart, Marshall over the next few weeks, i think we will see a different platform being set early in the tackle count, and more consistency in attack. Those names subject to Gildart and Marshall coming back from injury, so again it could be very different and therefore not a fluent as we would all like to see
