If this dispute with the raiders goes on long enough and ends up in his favour with the raiders having to pay him off for the rest of the season he just sit on his bum and wait for Wire to have cap space.Dan2266 wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 12:10 pmddtftf says Thornley is signed and we are interested in Gelling, If he says that then believe it.cherry toffee wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 11:17 am Right thanks for that update Dan, so the concerns i voiced on the other thread regarding Warrington are possible? Also are you aware of Thornley being signed or is it just a rumour same with Gelling?
Yes George may still end up at Warrington, but he has given Wigan his word. until its signed anything can happen, but its 99% he will be a Wigan player.
The only fly in that ointment if it came to pass is it would potentially screw up playing for England

I agree over the World Cup but let’s be fair it’s by no means an absolute certainty that’ll go ahead so that could ease things I suppose for himDaveO wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 3:37 pmIf this dispute with the raiders goes on long enough and ends up in his favour with the raiders having to pay him off for the rest of the season he just sit on his bum and wait for Wire to have cap space.Dan2266 wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 12:10 pmddtftf says Thornley is signed and we are interested in Gelling, If he says that then believe it.cherry toffee wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 11:17 am Right thanks for that update Dan, so the concerns i voiced on the other thread regarding Warrington are possible? The Canberra fans are falling out of love with Hodgson a bit anyway, I imagine his days there are numbered.

Brisbane look a bit desperate. They signed Albert Kelly! I actually had no idea until I saw him last weekend. To be fair, he was one of their better performers.

Yes, Sam Williams I had to look twice
