New covid arrangements
As restrictions will be removed in the coming weeks is it likely that the club will allow season ticket holders to revert back to their normal seats instead of having to go through the current procedure for booking seats? I am sure it would not be too difficult to make the gate machines to recognise last seasons tickets. What do you think?
Re: New covid arrangements
I hate the current arrangement, makes me realise how good my normal seat was
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Yep and all the bars open again too (for those who felt unable to return without being able to get a beer - I wonder if anything will stop them now?)

I just don’t see the rush happening I really don’t,that habit for want of a better word has been broken for many people, next season will be the real test in regards of fans I suppose, but as ever we shall see.

I haven't been yet. and I'm in no hurry. The spoiling of the whole 'match-day experience' for want of a better word, is the biggest reason. More than the Warriors indifferent form, anyway. Masks, no beer, can't sit in your seat... Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticising the Club, it is doing what has to be done. But it has sucked most of the fun out of it.

thats if you still have them.Old warrior Mike wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 10:34 am As restrictions will be removed in the coming weeks is it likely that the club will allow season ticket holders to revert back to their normal seats instead of having to go through the current procedure for booking seats? The opposite view would be that crowds were at record levels after WWII because people had been deprived of sport for so long.fozzieskem wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 11:23 amI just don’t see the rush happening I really don’t,that habit for want of a better word has been broken for many people, next season will be the real test in regards of fans I suppose, but as ever we shall see.
I can't see that happening now as circumstances are very different, but, as you say, "we shall see".

If you are deprived of sport nowadays, just reach for the remote...
Re: New covid arrangements
Its a shame that people only go out of "habit". Personally I couldn't wait to get back, I don't care how we are playing - i've not been for 2 years! Same's true in for concerts, people have got out of the habit of going to those, but you can't buy a ticket for anything now unless you get in immediately. People are desperate to get out there again. Perhaps Wiganers are just a bit more miserable than most?fozzieskem wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 11:23 amI just don’t see the rush happening I really don’t,that habit for want of a better word has been broken for many people, next season will be the real test in regards of fans I suppose, but as ever we shall see.

Or concerned for their personal safety? It's up to all of us to make our own calls.
