Think I would put money on him going before season end.Graham1 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 28, 2021 2:24 pm If we were going to sack Lam he would have gone by now. Just think he will go at the end of the season, because we won’t make the 6, can’t see us scoring a try never mind win a game. Hope they have a rethink of Wane and Peet though would like to see a fresh approach and we won’t get that with the old brigade.

If they dont sack him on Monday will he be coming to fans forums if he does then he will see the hatred built up against him and would probably resign there and then. Better still dont sack him and make him come to fans forum.keptinthedarkfans wrote: ↑Sat Aug 28, 2021 4:01 pmThink I would put money on him going before season end.Graham1 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 28, 2021 2:24 pm If we were going to sack Lam he would have gone by now. Dan I was told lam had a meeting on Friday morning that got heated. And that he is definitely going before end of season regardless of results. Have you not heard anything about this?
If this was a book it’s be “spot goes to the park” when the regime need to be more “game of thrones”

Where as at the time I got the info about the announcement this was not the case. It would not shock me at all if he goes Tuesday morning after another lacklustre embarrassing performance.
Some of you may say the above is obvious and it is really. But thats the reason as to no announcement, there have now been discussions (not involving lam) about a plan if he is relieved of his duties before the end of the season.
Im not saying you are wrong…. But I was led to believe that meeting wasn't a meeting as such, it was the team debrief that happens after every game. It did get heated but it often does.
As far as I am aware, Lam has been told weeks ago his contract is not being renewed, but there is a small whisper that his contract runs out prior to the play offs commencing.

I think hatred is a bit strong, frustration would probably be more apt.jaws1 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 28, 2021 4:49 pmIf they dont sack him on Monday will he be coming to fans forums if he does then he will see the hatred built up against him and would probably resign there and then. I personally think Lam has tried his best, unfortunately his best fell well short of the fans expectations.

Think you need to rephrase your post!
Sounds like it’s your hatred & not ALL supporters because it’s definitely not mine! Horrible post!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

His point is valid though, its easy to mistake resentment for hatred.
People can hate Lam for what he has done to Wigan rl team, doesn't mean the hate Lam as a person.

These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

It’s again a show of pathetic leadership from rads to just remain silent is ridiculous either sack him or back him

Why would they have a team debrief 2 days later ? I thought they happened the morning after the game ?Dan2266 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 28, 2021 6:26 pmkeptinthedarkfans wrote: ↑Sat Aug 28, 2021 1:04 pmDan I was told lam had a meeting on Friday morning that got heated. [/quote]perhaps hatred is a bit harsh wrong word resentment would be more appropriate dont hate him as person never implied that why is it a horrible post you yourself have questioned him about why he not playing the seasoned props and burning the young lads out .The fans coming off on wednesday were saying a lot of things about him not nice things either.
