I’ve said it many times but I’ll say again. If they don’t want to be with the club get a fee and let them go.

IL has history of not standing in the way of players not wanting to be at Wigan.widdenoldboy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 11:04 pmNot simple, no.Wandering Warrior wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 1:12 pmTo use Wigan as a back up if nowt turns up in Aus! Simple that one.WarriorWinger wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 11:40 am Wasn't it French himself that invoked the extra year on his contract, so not sure why he would then turn around and say he is not returning
A new contract with Wigan means a transfer fee would be involved before a move back down under, surely?
Do you think if French comes the wounded soldier IL will push it, doubt it, has as been said, contracts mean nowt.
Time will tell.

That’s what I’ve heard… Huddersfield!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Ultimately this strategy won’t work. When the club lets a player leave it has to go and find at least as good a replacement which it might not be able to do. It doesn’t matter how much someone wants to prove themselves if they aren’t as good as those allowed to leave. The quality of the squad drops.cumbria_warrior wrote:I’ve said it many times but I’ll say again. If they don’t want to be with the club get a fee and let them go.

It must be a nightmare being coach at Wigan as you never know who is going to be at the club for as long as they are supposed to be. As soon as anyone fancies a change they go into a sulk and off they go or so it seems.
This is down to IL and Rads. How hard can it be to make it clear to players if you sign for X seasons, that’s how long you are here?
Well at Wigan the answer is now very hard because no player will believe it as the club is such a soft touch.

Hope to high heaven that we get Pryce in return if this is true

If Zak does go to Huddersfield I can't see it being a swap deal. Who have they got that we could use at 6 (the position we claim we're looking for)? They've lost Sezer and I can't remember who replaced him. There's no way that they'll let Pryce leave.

If we were doing a player swap with Huddersfield for Hardaker then I'd rather take Jake Wardle than Pryce.
