SALFORD - PITCH INSPECTION AT 5PM!

Bit short notice if they call the game off, but I'm told it's snowing hard further north so if the white stuff is heading this way then maybe it makes sense. At the moment it's a glorious (cold) sunny day here in Manchester, but it doesn't take much for that to change.

That link isn't working for me, Fraggle, but it's also on the club site now...

Whatever happened to the good old days, packing the pitch with straw or getting a few metal drums on the pitch and getting a fire going inside them :D

This is summer rugby for you

Warrington didn't bother installing under soil heating at the new ground, not sure how they are getting on for tonight as it is on sky as well

So is this inspection for the snow or the frozen ground? Does the Willows have undersoil heating, anyone know?

It does not have undersoil heating. The pitch has been covered by sheets. I would surmise the inspection is to make sure the pitch is safe (I.E frost)
