Latest update from www.reds.co.uk - THE MATCH IS ON! This was announcing the inspection a few minutes ago, so KK must have made his decision.

did they make the decision before, or after it started snowing???

Possibly before, or at least before it really started snowing properly. The visibility earlier on was so bad you would hardly be able to see the other end of the pitch.
