Regardless of the salary cap, we may have had space but chose not to offer more for affordability reasons or just deeming he isn’t worth more than we offered.Blackpool_Pie wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 5:33 pm Sad to see him go. Very reliable in every way. Try scoring winger. Solid centre. Never injured and always gives his all. Can't blame him at all for seeking a better deal. This is literally what the salary cap is here for though. Wish him all the very best.

He isn't worth more to us than offered. He is worth more to Huddersfield. Hence they offered more and hence the salary cap has worked in this instancenathan_rugby wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 5:37 pmRegardless of the salary cap, we may have had space but chose not to offer more for affordability reasons or just deeming he isn’t worth more than we offered.Blackpool_Pie wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 5:33 pm Sad to see him go. If there was no salary cap, it doesn’t mean we would have offered the same as Huddersfield and retained him.Blackpool_Pie wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 6:11 pmHe isn't worth more to us than offered. It doesn't mean 100% that we would but the chances are a lot more likelynathan_rugby wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 6:15 pmIf there was no salary cap, it doesn’t mean we would have offered the same as Huddersfield and retained him.Blackpool_Pie wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 6:11 pmHe isn't worth more to us than offered. I believe it could be jake wardle coming in .
Not getting a game in hudds team yet starting centre for England under wane.
Conspiracy theory suggests he isnt getting in hudds team as he turned down their offer in lieu of a btter deal from Wigan

His agent is Sam Ayoub. Was mentioned to Wigan a few weeks ago when we were talking to him about a different player.
