Well let's hope common sense prevails and an accord can be reached one that doesn't impact perhaps wigans biggest gate of the season

Im almost certain from when Latics were taken over.No straw damn us wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 6:20 pmWhen did that change? From published accounts it was always 10% of gate.Dan2266 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 9:52 amcorrect they get a fee, but if the attendance is over a set amount the fee is more, but its not a percentage of the gate.EDINBURGH-WARRIOR wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 9:48 am They only get a fee for the stadium don't they. Not a % of the gate .

Suppose a key to this fixture is whether Sky are covering. Once the football season is under way, you don’t imagine Sky finding a slot on Sunday for rugby.

If Wigan v Saints was shown on the moon I think Sky would want to cover itManxWarrior wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 4:54 pm Suppose a key to this fixture is whether Sky are covering. Once the football season is under way, you don’t imagine Sky finding a slot on Sunday for rugby.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

If Sunday is an option, I wouldn’t mind that.

That said, it most likely will be moved to allow time for the pitch to be repaired & re-marked.
