Wigan need to release a non-federation player to get a new signing in!

Also the chat last night was that we’re interested in Olly Ashall Bott?

Yeh, been thinking that also, as a replacement for French he has that utility value and unpredictably but hes on the small side.lcharnock2 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 8:10 amFrench out, Leutele in by the sounds of it…Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 12:17 am Wigan need to release a non-federation player to get a new signing in!

On French, we have a long offseason coming and I suspect Bevan will be home for this time and be able to talk to NRL clubs more easily. Would we put a time limit on his decision and would we stick to it if he changed his mind?

This is a good point. It would be very easy for his agent knowing he has a contract in the bag to wait for the close season to see what he can come up with. Surely we must now put a time scale on the offer or at least explain we need to look to find someone else so he needs to make his mind up before we find someone.widdenoldboy wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 11:48 amYeh, been thinking that also, as a replacement for French he has that utility value and unpredictably but hes on the small side.lcharnock2 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 8:10 amFrench out, Leutele in by the sounds of it…Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 12:17 am Wigan need to release a non-federation player to get a new signing in!

We should not be worrying about the quota when we have players like Miski & Isa taking up spots.
Especially with Leuluai set to retire & likely replaced by the highly rated Astley. That's another opened up.
