Well it was needed this clear out but Powell has nowhere to hide next season that’s for sure
Re: Warrington have ordered a skip...
One major problem is that there is not a single player in the squad that he has improved. He needs to hope that the players coming in can carry the others with them because they are not working for him now. Contrast that with Peet.

You would think and expect Warrington to perform next year and who knows with a completely different line up. Powell will be looking for a good start because if he started off badly his job would be on the line bringing further disruption to an organisation that has lost it's way for a number of years

I agree it's his baby now for sure but this ear out has been needed for awhile now as they simply haven't been where the money they spend suggests they shod be doingWigan Watcher wrote: ↑Fri Aug 26, 2022 9:46 am You would think and expect Warrington to perform next year and who knows with a completely different line up. I don’t see Wire being in the mix next season. They are pinning their hopes on a bunch of forwards who are aged 30+Wigan Watcher wrote: ↑Fri Aug 26, 2022 9:46 am You would think and expect Warrington to perform next year and who knows with a completely different line up. On paper that's not a bad thing...30 + prop forwards
Is that allowed having 30 forwards on the pitch. Maybe we can let them have that many to help them with their "THIS IS OUR YEAR" CAMPAIGN

You're certainly right he'll have nowhere to hide, and, given his performance to date, I don't think he'll still be at Warrington after next season. The players he brought with him from Cas were average at best. Their presence, and his prefernce for them, only served to de-motivate the existing squad. As a manager anywhere, you have to be able to get your team to play for you, hand-picked or inherited. If you can't do that, you aren't a manager. This Wires squad doesn't want to play for him, a very sad state of affairs for a proud club. They didn't become a bad team overnight.fozzieskem wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 10:18 pm Well it was needed this clear out but Powell has nowhere to hide next season that’s for sure
