Not my idea of a player we should be after either, may just be rumours however

Re: Jake Wardle
Could also be seen as a replacement for Sam Halsall if the team still wants to secure him a SL loan like they were trying to do around Magic Weekend this year. Plus, Thornley may be contemplating retirement with the amount of injuries he has had this season -- who knows.Dan2266 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 13, 2022 11:58 amNot my idea of a player we should be after either, may just be rumours however

Re: Jake Wardle
Hope they don’t put Sam Halsall out on loan I would prefer it if he stayed & learned his craft here.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I absolutely agree but I remember being in Newcastle & reading about how his loan to Hull fell through.josie andrews wrote: ↑Tue Sep 13, 2022 12:42 pm Hope they don’t put Sam Halsall out on loan I would prefer it if he stayed & learned his craft here.
"Halsall has played a handful of games for Wigan's first team since his debut but has found first-team action hard to come by this year. Despite that, he continues to thrive in the reserves which has seen the Warriors seek opportunities for him at Super League level."
