Re: Bateman
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

It was difficult to see what had happened at the match but I have since watched in on TV and Knowles forearm makes contact with Martin’s head.josie andrews wrote: ↑Sat Nov 05, 2022 8:41 pmI haven’t watched it back, it was well away from where we were sat, but thank you for the heads up.Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Sat Nov 05, 2022 7:39 pmThey were all involved in that, Knowles was stupid.![]()

You could have stopped after the first quarter.Mike wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 3:41 amOh, I stopped watching at about 50 mins. Game over ages ago.josie andrews wrote: ↑Sat Nov 05, 2022 7:04 pmUntil the melee close to full time!Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Sat Nov 05, 2022 5:06 pm

It's amazing how people's perspective of the quater finals varies depending on the team.Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 11:44 amYou could have stopped after the first quarter.
England absolutely dominated PNG in that first half and earned the score line through forced repeat sets. The second half was a much more quater final feel with the tries coming from excellent play 12-6 to England.
I keep seeing people saying they turned it off because it was a walk over.
However
If Australia or NZL post this scorelines its all about how ruthless they where and its shows how good a rugby team can be.
Wane has got England playing some outstanding rugby and atleast 3 quaters of the tries yesterday where brilliant to watch.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

I judge a game on wether or not I enjoyed watching it..sure it was fun seeing the tries go in but after 10/15 mins or so the realisation sets in that it’s game over and something turns off for me,same at Wigan games always want a win of course but want a contest too.Caboosegg wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 12:07 pmIt's amazing how people's perspective of the quater finals varies depending on the team.
